2001: Signed as a free agent by the Oakland Raiders... 1998: Lamont was signed to the Redskins active roster late in the season but never saw action in 1998, as he was inactive for the final four games of the season. Prior to joining the Redskins, Lamont began the season on the Jets practice squad, but was released and added to the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad … 1997: Saw his first NFL action with the Jets in Week 13 of the 1997 season vs. Buffalo…The following week, started his first NFL game against the Colts…Selected in 5th round of 1997 draft (131st overall) by the Jets…Signed as a free agent on December 2, 1998.

College Highlights
A four-year player who saw action in 38 games…Started his last two seasons at guard…Arrived at ECU as a defensive lineman and switched to the offensive line for the 1994 season…Started 11 games as a senior and helped open holes that allowed Scott Harley to amass the 3rd most rushing yards in the NCAA that year.
