Pro: First-round pick of the Chicago Bears (21st overall) in the 1995 NFL Draft … Rushed for 1,074 yards as a rookie, establishing a Bears’ rookie record … Scored 10 touchdowns and had five games with 100+ rushing yards … Battled injuries in ’96 and ’97 … Went to camp with the Raiders in ’98 but was released prior to the start of the season … Signed by the Browns in 1999 and played in two games … Finished the ’99 campaign with the Packers.

College: Rushed for 2,055 yards and 24 touchdowns on 298 carries in his Heisman Trophy season … Averaged 6.9 yards per carry and 186.8 yards per game … Was then just the fourth back to top the 2,000-yard mark in one season … In addition to the Heisman, he was the NCAA rushing, scoring and all-purpose champ … Won the prestigious Doak Walker Award (nation’s top back) and was named the Walter Camp Foundation and Football News Player of the Year … Finished three-year career at Colorado with 3,057 rushing yards and 33 rushing touchdowns.
