Nickname Explanation: Blair's nickname Gladiator represents "a depiction of what we go through on the field." Blair states that football is "survival of the fittest" and players must adopt the gladiator mindset in order to be successful and dominate in a football game. Blair wrote what he calls a poem or short monologue that expresses this sentiment and provides a view of the game of football through his eyes. The inspiration for his "poem" was the movies Remember the Titans and Gladiator.
