Professional Football: Was a fifth round draft choice (145th overall) of the New England Patriots in the 1998 NFL Draft…placed on injured reserve in August of ‘98 due to surgery on both legs…procedure was needed in order to relieve compartment pressures in the lower portion of his limbs…waived by New England on 9/21/99…signed as a free agent with the New Orleans Saints in 2000.

College Football: University of Colorado… four-year letterman (1994-97)…started 22 of 33 games for the Buffaloes and totaled 174 career tackles… caused one fumble and recovered another, which he returned 33 yards…majored in sociology.

Personal: Attended Clark High School in Las Vegas, Nev., where he starred in football, wrestling and track…named Super Prep All-American following his senior season…collected 85 tackles, two sacks and five forced fumbles as an inside linebacker and rushed for 830 yards and 16 touchdowns on 137 carries (6.1 avg.) as a fullback …added All-Far West, All-Midlands, All-Sunset, All-Southern Zone Conference and USA Today honorable mention honors his senior year after leading his team to the state playoffs…totaled 80 tackles and three sacks while rushing for 450 yards and two scores as a junior…earned two varsity letters in wrestling and lettered in track, competing as a sprinter, in addition to throwing the shot put and discus…his father is a professional boxing trainer who has trained world champions Roy Jones Jr. and Ray Mercer…his cousin, Harry Galbreath, played guard at Tennessee and played professionally for the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets…another cousin, Tim Cross, played college football at Tennessee State…single.
