Other Pro Experience: Went to camp with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2000 after an outstanding season with Berlin Thunder (NFL-Europe)…opened season as starting running back for Thunder, finishing 3rd in the league with 460 rushing yards on 125 carries and three touchdowns…threat out of the backfield, he caught 18 passes for 131 yards (7.3 average)…returned 17 kickoffs for 345 yards (20.3 average)…totals ranked 4th in league in that category…had a season-high 76 yards and one touchdown against eventual league champion Rhein…began professional career as an undrafted free agent with the Chiefs in 1999…was one of team’s final cuts, being waived on August 31…re-signed and spent five weeks on the practice squad.

College: Finished college career as one of the all-time leading rushers in college football history after an incredible four-year career at Emporia State…three-time Division II All-America pick…finished his career with six NCAA all-division records including most rushing yards (6,958), 200-yard rushing games (15), all-purpose yards (9,301), total touchdowns (88), rushing touchdowns (81) and total points (544)…owns or shares 12 Division II records…averaged 205.1 rushing yards per game as a senior in 1998…incredibly, he averaged more than 2,000 yards rushing over his final three years of his college career…total of 6,280 yards in his final three seasons was more than ’98 Heisman Trophy winner Ricky Williams four-year total of 6,279…final college stats show 1,007 rushes for 6,958 yards (6.9 avg.) to go with 110 receptions for 1,032 yards and four more scores…also had 1,207 yards on punt returns and 104 yards on kickoff returns…won 1998 Harlon Hill Trophy as nation’s best Division II player…finished in final four for the same award as a junior.

Miscellaneous: Attended Paola (Kansas) High School, just outside of Kansas City…majored in Sociology at Emporia State…helped lead prep school to Class 4A state championship with a school record 1,800 yards and 27 touchdowns…all-state wrestler…full name is Brian P.
