Other Pro Experience: Played four seasons for the Washington Redskins (1995-98)…spent entire rookie season on injured reserve with groin injury suffered in training camp...had outstanding 1996 season, where he was one of the top kickers in the NFL…hit 26 of 32 field goals (81.3%) and all 40 of his extra points in leading the Redskins in scoring and was fifth in NFL with 118 points…FG percentage was second best in team history…was three of five with long of 50 yards in week 10 victory against Detroit…was 16 of 24 (66.7%) in field goals during second season, scoring 82 points in 15 games…played just two games in third season, hitting 2 of 4 field goals and all four PAT’s to account for 10 points…accurate throughout his NFL career, hitting 73.3% of his field goal attempts (44 of 60) and all 78 extra points to account for 210 points in 33 games…was also Washington’s back-up punter…averaged 42 yards on two kicks in 1996.

College: Played college football at University of Oklahoma, where he was top-rated field goal kicker in Big Eight…hit 11 of 16 attempts as a senior…also was starting punter with a 35.3 average…connected on 41 of 61 field goals in career (67.2%) and averaged 36.8 yards on 77 attempts…completed his career sixth on Sooners all-time scoring list 237 points…lettered four seasons…16 field goals as a junior is OU single season record…41 field goals ranks third on school’s all-time list; as does his 233 kicking points…listed in 2000 Oklahoma Media Guide as one of four best kickers in OU’s storied 107-year history.
