Career: Trekked cross the country from Ohio to take part in a Demons’ October tryout camp, proving his left knee was sound after a serious 1998 injury …. One of San Francisco’s two first-round draft choices on the current roster, emerging as the 30th overall pick in the 1995 NFL selection process by the Cleveland Browns after bypassing final collegiate season …. Three-year starter at Ohio State, helping Buckeyes’ to share of 1993 Big Ten championship and appearance in three post-season contests …. Made the move to Baltimore with the franchise in 1996, then resurfaced in NFL with New York Jets in two years later. 1998: Signed by Jets in mid-October and was shelved 12 days later after his second knee injury in three years, going on injured reserve …. Saw action in two Jets’ victories over Atlanta and New England on special teams. 1996: Sidelined during part of the year with a shoulder ailment, but was one of Ravens’ leaders on special teams in nine appearances with eight tackles, seven unassisted ….
