Career: Perfect example of NFL financial casualty …. Heralded as one of the Cincinnati Bengals’ fastest receivers over his four-year NFL career, seeing action in 36 games during that period …. Native of Daly City returns to home area for next professional gig …. Pulled down 28 passes in his NFL career for 416 yards and four scores and also played on special teams and returned kickoffs during his Cincinnati stint …. Toiled in the last five games of the 1996 season as a rookie, started three times among nine appearances in 1998 and saw action in six games in 1999. 1999: Stunted by bruised kidney early in training camp and sprained toe in pre-season finale on touchdown catch …. Notched only catch in season-ending contest at Jacksonville. 1998: Sustained a cracked rib in his first NFL start vs. Denver on 11-yard scoring pass from Neil O’Donnell, then led team with 43 receiving yards the next week at Jacksonville …. Also started two weeks later against Baltimore, spelling injured Darnay Scott and concluded season on inactive list …. Caught 10 passes for 112 yards in nine games. 1997: Enjoyed his best season as a second-year man, playing in all 16 games and hauling in 16 passes for 285 yards and two touchdowns …. Recorded career bests of five catches for 118 yards in a 1997 game at Philadelphia, including two scoring passes from Boomer Esiason. 1996: Made NFL debut as kick returner and and back-up receiver …. Averaged 23.7 yards on 10 runbacks and first NFL reception and only catch of the season was a six-point grab from Jeff Blake at Houston.

College: Played two seasons at Portland State and caught 83 passes for 1,406 yards and averaged 25.3 yards on kickoff returns for Vikings’ Division I-AA playoff program …. Inducted into City College of San Francisco athletic hall of fame in November commerating selection as team MVP in only season with the school.
