A veteran defensive coach with extensive experience...defensive coordinator at Bethune-Cookman College since 1997...turned around a defense that was ranked last in the conference to third-best in nation...served as athletic director and head football coach at Deltona High School in Deltona, Fla. from 1993-1996...spent seven years as head coach at Bloomsburg University (1986-92)... compiled a 38-35-1 overall record which is the second most wins in school history...assistant head coach and defensive coordinator at Rhode Island from 1976-1985...defensive line coach for Idaho State from 1972-75... from 1970-71, he was the wide receiver coach at Rhode Island while earning a master's in Physical Education...graduated from West Virginia in 1970, where he played linebacker...attended Brilliant High School in Brilliant, Ohio.
