Kevin Peoples joins the Outlaws
after his second stint at Northwestern State (Louisiana)
as the defensive line coach and a 1999 season at
Northern Arizona University, where the Lumberjacks held
opponents to the lowest fourth-down conversion rate in
the conference during the 1999 season. Peoples went to
Northern Arizona after one season as defensive line
coach and strength and conditioning coordinator at
Central Missouri State. Prior to that stint, he spent
two seasons as defensive ends coach at Northwestern
State (La.) and one year at Blinn College (Texas) as
defensive line coach in 1995.
He began his coaching career at his alma mater, Carroll
College (Mont.), where he was linebackers coach in 1993
and 1994. While a player at Carroll, Peoples was a
two-time all-conference pick and earned all-district
honors as a senior while playing a starting role all
four years (1989-92) at linebacker.
Born on August 21, 1970 in Butte, Montana, Peoples
received his bachelors degree in history and
secondary education in 1993 from Carroll. He is engaged
to Rebecca Chilton, and the couple have set June 30,
2001 as their wedding date. |
