Came to Boise State University on a football scholarship after a stint at Butte Junior College In his senior season, he was the second leading receiver on the team with 34 catches for 511 yards and one touchdown He finished his career with 47 receptions and 819 yards receiving and three touchdowns As a junior he averaged 23.7 yards a catch to lead the receiving corps Was Boise States top kickoff returner in his two seasons averaging 19.7 yards and 23 yards in 1997 and 1998 respectively In 1999 he was the first Boise State athlete to earn two All-American awards at the same championships Broke the Boise State 400meter record at the Big West Championships with a winning time of 45.36 At Butte Junior College he received first team All-Conference as a wide receiver. Personal A two-way starter at Rancho Cotatie High School Earned first team all-league honors as a wide receiver and defensive back. Criners Critique Corey is a big wide receiver with blazing speed, especially for his size. His sub 4.4 speed will enable him to get behind the coverage and stretch the defense vertically.
