College Career As in prior seasons, in 1998 Werner Hippler joined the Cologne Crocodiles after the end of the Galaxy season…Hippler played for the Cologne Crocodiles in 1997, reaching the German Bowl for the fourth time in Crocodiles history…The Crocodiles lost the game against the Braunschweig Lions, but Hippler had already won a national amateur title with the Red Barons Cologne in 1988…From 1992-94, he played for the NCAA Division 1-AA team Sacramento Hornets. Personal Werner and his wife Kirsten are proud parents of their two-year old son Dennis...
