1999: Dallas Cowboys signed him from the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad in the 16th week of the 1999 season to add depth to a depleted defensive secondary…Saw action in the NFC Wild Card Playoff game and recorded a tackle…Went to the Kansas City Chiefs training camp but was released during camp…Later signed to the practice squad where he would spend 15 weeks before being activated by Dallas … 1998: Signed by the Kansas City Chiefs on November 3, 1998 and spent 6 weeks on the practice squad before being placed on the active rooster on December 17th…Saw is first action in the NFL on special teams for the New York Giants on December 20 … 1996: Drafted by the Hamilton TigerCats of the Canadian Football League in 1996…Spent two years in the Canadian League before joining the NFL.

College Career
He played his college ball at NAIA-Div. II Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Mo. (1992-95), where he played quarterback, safety and cornerback…Moved to defensive back his senior season and recorded 55 total tackles…Two tackles for loss, 3 forced fumbles, and 5 interceptions which led the Heart Of America Athletic Conference…Played his first three seasons at quarterback, compiling 942 career rushing yards on 359 attempts and 11 touchdowns…Passed for 2,537 yards with 14 touchdowns and 30 interceptions…NAIA All-American Scholar-Athlete in 1994 and 1995…NAIA All-American (Honorable Mention) as a defensive back in 1995…Also played baseball where he was elected HAAC Baseball Player of the Year in 1995 and 1996.
