XFL Million Dollar Game Matchups: Xtreme vs. Demons SPECIAL TEAMS

Jose Cortez is money. The bare-footed kicker has hit 19 of 23 field goals on the year, including kicks of 45, 47 and 48. He's hit on nine straight and hasn't missed since Week 5. Damon Gibson causes coaches to sweat whenever he returns a punt. He broke a 51-yarder and several other impressive runs during the regular season. Punter Noel Prefontaine also plays QB, making fourth down trick plays a very real possibility Kicker Mike Panasuk opened with a bang, nailing a 33-yard field goal as time ran out in Week 1 to lift the Demons over LA, but he's struggled since and is converting on just 45.5 percent of his attempts. Jimmy Cunningham may present the biggest punt return risk in the league, averaging 13.6 yards per runback which includes a 63-yard TD.

Al Luginbill is the perfect XFL coach. He not only led the Xtreme to one of the best records in the league, but his fiery personality has made from great moments for the XFL's "all access" style. His team wins games, and does so in exciting fashion. None of the Xtreme losses were blow-outs, as he refuses to allow his team to ever give up. Jim Skipper has been to the playoffs before with several NFL teams. Good at motivating his players and developed a game plan that beat arguably the strongest XFL team, Orlando, on their own field in the playoffs.

First team to host Million Dollar Game, but will they really hold home field advantage? Loyal Demons fans may swarm into LA and take control of the Xtreme's usually friendly atmosphere. Riding high after giving Orlando its first loss at the Citrus Bowl. Looking for redemption after falling to the Xtreme late in the season and watching the Western Division championship slip through their grasp.
