Rutherford, NJ /STAMFORD, CT, August 3, 2000 – The XFL made three major announcements last week!  New York/New Jersey will have an XFL team that will play all five of its home games in Giants Stadium!  Former Dallas Cowboy star wide receiver, Drew Pearson was named as XFL NY/NJ's first Vice President and General Manager!  And finally, the XFL named Spalding its first official licensee - and unveiled the official XFL ball!
