GENERAL
The maximum seating capacity of Sam Boyd Stadium is approximately
38,000, but the seating arrangements have been limited to around
30,000 by the XFL so that you can have the best view possible of
the replay screen (on the scoreboard, and the whited-out seats at
the bottom of the seating charts are not generally open).
If a particular game sells out, the XFL may allow more seats to
be sold next to the scoreboard (seen in the whited-out section of
the seating chart), and these are generally available from the Thomas
& Mack box office at UNLV. Ample parking is available,
although not all fenced areas are open for general parking.
XIP Parking
All XIP ticket holders may park in the fenced West parking areas,
but you MUST show your XIP parking pass for entry.
Season
Ticket Parking
Season ticket holders may park anywhere in the South and East general
parking areas at no charge. Be sure to present your season
tickets to avoid a parking charge (just in case!). Season
ticket holders may also park in the limited areas within the East
fenced area as well, through gates 10 & 11; this fenced area
will open up four hours prior to kickoff, but I have been told that
no cooking nor grilling will be allowed inside the fences.
All Others
All other fans may park in the Northwest, South, and East general
parking areas.
Sam Boyd Stadium is located at the far east end of E. Russell Road
(7000 E. Russell Road), east of Boulder Highway. If you are
arriving from the Strip:
- Go east on Flamingo or Tropicana to Boulder Highway; if on
Flamingo, turn south (right) on Boulder Highway to Tropicana,
and turn east (left) onto Tropicana and follow it as it curves
south to the stadium. If on Tropicana, continue east (straight)
across Boulder Highway as Tropicana curves south to the stadium.
- If coming from California via I-15, continue north on I-15
to the I-215 Airport Connector Freeway and go east (towards
McCarran International Airport). Continue east on I-215
for several miles until the freeway ends and turns into Lake
Mead Drive. At the 95 Expressway (I-515), turn north (left)
onto the Expressway to Russell Road. Exit onto Russell
Road and go east (right). Follow Russell Road all the
way east across Boulder Highway until it ends at the stadium.
- If coming from Arizona/California via US95 or US93: go north
on I-515/95/93 Expressway to Russell Road. Exit Russell
Road and go east (right). Follow Russell Road across Boulder
Highway all the way until it ends at the stadium.
- If coming from all points north, drive south on US93, US95,
or I-15 to the exit for the US95/I-515 Expressway south to Phoenix
and Kingman (and Henderson/Boulder City). Continue south
on I-515 Expressway until Russell Road; exit onto Russell Road
and go east (left). Continue on Russell Road east across
Boulder Highway until you come to the stadium.
