It's almost game time! A very light workout
today, with no pads and no contact. Players and coaches walked
through plays as they prepared for tomorrow's inaugural game against
the NY/NJ Hitmen. Most of the players are sporting the "LV"
logo on the sides of their helmets by now, and they seem excited
for their season opener. Good luck guys, and GO OUTLAWS!!
PREGAME NOTES:
 The
weather is expected to be in the low to mid-60's during the day,
and fall into the 40's at night. Since kickoff is at 5pm,
dress warm! The seats are aluminum bleacher-type, so bring
a cushion or blanket to sit on.
The game sold out Thursday at just over 26,000, and since the demand
was still high for more tickets the XFL authorized a few more to
be sold. These can only be purchased from the Thomas &
Mack ticket office at UNLV. These extra seats are in the bleachers
in the north ends of the stadium; the XFL didn't want these seats
sold since there was a very limited view of the replay screen on
the scoreboard from there. But, the fans have spoken, and
there are only a few left. |
