The XFL comes to Orlando!
McMahon, Basil DeVito and other members of the XFL Executive Committee
were in town Monday to officially announce that the XFL is headed
to Orlando! Orlando joins Chicago
as three of the eight XFL charter cities. The Orlando team will
play all five of their home games in the Citrus Bowl. In addition,
the XFL introduced Tom Veit as the team's vice president and general
manager. As the principal front office executive, Veit will direct
all aspects of the team's operations and be responsible for building
a winning and successful team in Orlando. The official team name
and logo will be unveiled at a later date.
