XFL Playoff Preview: Demons-Rage SPECIAL TEAMS

Jay Taylor split the uprights on 7 of 9 field goal attempts this year. He's been especially accurate from long range as he's hit 3 of 4 attempts from the 40-49 yard range. Also a strong punter as he ranks second in the league with a 42.7 yards per boot average. Kick returning duties fall largely into the hands of Brian Shay who broke out a 95-yard dash to open up Week 7. Skinny Culver's the main punt returner with an average of 6.4 yards per try with a long of 22. Kicker Mike Panasuk opened with a bang, nailing a 33-yard field goal as time ran out in Week 1 to lift the Demons over LA, but he's struggled since and is converting on just 45.5 percent of his attempts. Jimmy Cunningham may present the biggest punt return risk in the league, averaging 13.6 yards per runback which includes a 63-yard TD.

Galen Hall - A win in the Million Dollar Game would give Hall his 100th as a head coach, which includes triumphs recorded in NFL Europe, the World League and the collegiate level. Running back Brian Shay reveals the players' thoughts on the man holding the clipboard. "This is the best overall coaching staff I have ever played for and I think the other players on our team feel the same way." Jim Skipper has been to the playoffs before with several NFL teams. That experience may prove invaluable in preparing the Demons for Orlando.

Home field advantage, the top seed in the league. Citrus Bowl crowds love the Rage and would love even more for the Million Dollar game to debut in Central Florida. Struggled in final two weeks. Did the Rage peak too soon?. Has already fallen to the Rage at the Citrus Bowl this season. Demons posted their wins with relatively little fanfare. Unheralded teams are dangerous teams. Can Pawlawski break out in a big game?
